Feng shui tips - Major Space cleaning before you move into a new place

Whether you are going to buy a brand new house or a used house, it is very important to have major space cleaning before you move into a new place because it influences your life.

If possible, it’s good to have space cleaning one week before the date you move into the new place.


Especially if it’s a used house, previous occupant’s energy is still there.

If possible, it’s best to buy a house which the previous owner left for good luck reason, such as a promotion, marriage, success, rather than no good fortune occupants.


How to do major space cleaning ?


1. First ,consciously notice all the feelings that you are having before you start cleaning.

If you are not feeling good, or feel harm, or not well-balanced feeling, get full recovery from your problem first. I don’t recommend to do space cleaning until your feeling is fine.


2. Get rid of stuff you don’t need. Clothes, documents, magazines, etc.. And then clean your house normally, with vacuum cleaner, wipe everywhere with environmentally friendly green cleaner, including bathroom and kitchen.


What items do you need to do major space cleaning ?

1. Sea salt
2. Sage
3. Singing bowl
4. Essential oil or scent candle or incense ( sandalwood )
3. Music

1. Heat the sea salt in a frying pan, no oil, and shake pan while heating. And then cool down the sea salt.


3. Sprinkle the sea salt around your space, and keep it there about 10 minutes. ( in your sink , bathtub, toilet bowl also.)


4. Vacuum the space and remove the sea salt with it. ( flush it in the sink, bathtub and toilet bowl. )


5. Wipe all the furniture, electric stuff, decorations, and floor in your house.


6. Clean window with glass cleaner first, then use salt water with the wipe out.


5. Burn sage in the incense burner in all the rooms including all the corners of each room in your house.


6. Make a singing bowl ring with sound in all the rooms, into each corner. Do it slowly.


7. Burn essential oil or incense in all the rooms.


8. Decorate with fresh flowers.


9. Play music which sounds calm & positive and makes you feel good.


If you have any gemstones or crystals, put these items in a bowl with sea salt water for a while.

And after that put each gemstone in sunshine, by placing them in your balcony or somewhere they can get sunshine.


You can also burn incense and put the smoke around each stone.


While you are cleaning, make sure your feeling is full of joy and happiness and appreciation for all the blessings you have and all the blessings you are receiving.

And sprinkle sea salt all over the room of the house again and keep it like that for a week until you move into the house.


After that, open all the windows, and vacuum the floor, and burn the sage incense and also ring the singing bowl for sound in all the rooms, into each corner again.

It’s also good to throw away the trash which has sea salt in the vacuum cleaner before move into the house.


It is also believed that to display a horse after the space cleaning, before moving into the house, will attract good fortune.
